Watching ‘Saints and Scroungers’ on BBC1, quite funny actually, but annoying when you see how much some of the scroungers have actually managed to get…
Finally got the mi0gjn.co.uk website back online. Decided to buy a dedicated server. Wee bit on the pricy side, but if anyone wants a wee bit of space on it just let me know and I’ll give you a decent price on some hosting.
Just watching Monk at the minute, fun fun…
Anyway must get back to setting up the website again, thinking of putting the newest version of Joomla! on it.

It’s really nice to get a few days off work isn’t it? Been off now since Sunday 🙂
Just after watching the last few episodes of Neighbours, were quite good actually. Got a new app for my iPod for blogging, it’s quite good, although it doesn’t have support for more than one blog. Need to move mine over to wordpress on my domain, think it would be easier to integrate into my website 🙂

I love the fact that we have ‘Dave’ now – it’s great having plenty of old Top Gear, although I do have a whole pile on my computer anyway. www.finalgear.com is great if anyone is looking old Top Gear or Fifth Gear episodes.
It’s the manager’s wedding in work tonight, I’m working from 2pm to 6pm, then I’m outta there! Only worrying thing is last time everyone was off like this we had a robbery, so hopefully it works out ok this time…
The two hamsters seem to be getting on alright. They are sitting beside each other in their cages, and they don’t seem to be too bothered, although I do think they can smell each other, because at the start they were both standing in the same corner of their cages sorta sniffing and stuff, but they didn’t get upset so 🙂

Just sitting watching Hollyoaks at the minute with Amanda… Fun fun… Sky looks quite clear tonight, don’t know if it’s worth sticking my head out for half an hour or so, might catch a wee glimpse of the Perseids…
Miss having the aurora borealis, hopefully we’ll get a chance to see it again when the sun gets a bit more active…
Warm evening… Would be nice if it cooled down a bit, but I’ll say that and then it’ll freeze, so maybe I shouldn’t complain about the heat!
Haven’t really got anything much to say, other than the new car is going grand. Getting used to the Diesel engine. Just requires a bit more moving about gears to try and keep the power up.
Was a pretty nice day. Had to get up quite early to bring Craig round to work, but I just came home, moved into the living room and stuck an episode of Coast on the TV for a while… Didn’t see any of it but it was on…
We now have a lodger for 3 weeks I think… His name is Marble and he’s a browny/white coloured Syrian hamster. He’s also nearly as mad as my hamster. He keeps crawling upside down all around the cage, which is quite similar to what mine does.
Got Grannie’s tyre fixed AGAIN. Hopefully this will actually be fixed right this time. Got it fixed on Monday too, but I put it back on the car and she called me the next day to say it had gone flat again… Bit of a pain! But I hope that’ll be it this time…
New car is hopefully going to be ready on Friday afternoon. Can’t wait. The suspension in my one is starting to get a bit creaky. Bit of a common problem with the old Ka.
Anyhoo I can’t think of anything else to mention right now so… Cheerio!
Well had Craig out for another wee drive this morning. We went up the Doagh road, to Templepatrick, to Mallusk, then to Carrick, and back home. Was a bit hairy at the start, but once he got going he was fine. It’s hard trying to think what I do in certain places, like gears, braking and stuff… Getting a bit more used to it though!
He’s getting on well, hopefully we’ll get him through the test soon 🙂
Not a bad day here, we had a heavy shower about an hour or so ago, but other than that it seems to have been quite nice.
New fridge arrived safe and well at about 1010, just have the old one to get rid of now! Probably leave it out for the council to collect… Couldn’t give the fellas it back as we need it for the food, oddly enough!
Other than the Training Rep development day I’m off work now until Sunday, which is a nice change, nice to have a decent break.
Uugh just a bit fed up with work at the minute. Fed up having the place short staffed, fed up with that being ‘my’ fault when it’s actually nothing to do with me at all, not being able to get a decent break (actually probably only get about half the breaks I’m entitled to), and when you actually try to help you get chastised for doing so… Don’t agree with the fact that we have a number of duty managers working on normal weekly contracts, which means we could leave in a week if we wanted. Not exactly ideal.
Anyway rant over for the minute… Not a bad day, was nice not having to get up really early for work or anything.
Saw a movie on Sunday morning at Odeon. Sky seem to give out free tickets from time to time – most likely market research for them. Was called ‘Imagine That’ and it starred Eddie Murphy. Was very funny though, quite enjoyed it.
Booked a wee weekend away to Dublin next Valentine’s Day with Amanda. Loved it last time we were down for a weekend, so can’t wait! We’re also heading to Fuertaventura next June for a fortnight, again can’t wait. I’ve never really been anywhere warmish though, so hopefully I’m OK in the heat…
Had a really sore knee for the last couple of days, every time I kneel on it I get a shooting pain up my leg… But it should probably clear up in a day or two, I’m guessing it’s just a bruise or something.
Nearly have 100 friends on Facebook. Quite a lot for me anyway 🙂
Can’t wait for new car to come…
Anyway, going to head to bed now – have to be up at about 8am as we’re getting a new fridge and it’s getting delivered between 9 and 11 apparantly.
Work is really boring isn't it. My hand is really itchy at the minute

Really can’t believe how boring summer is… I’m working a little, but not loads, sitting around most days doing very little with my time.
Lovely weather today, bit of a change from the thunderstorms and heavy rain we had yesterday. The place is drying up nicely though.
Fridge is broken/breaking, so waiting on a new one arriving, but I think it’s going to be a week or so, which is a bit of a pain.
Got work this evening at 3pm – 10pm, sadly. Been a recent space of robberies, not in our area thankfully, but knowing Northern Ireland it won’t be long before they spread to us. Not great when I work mainly evenings and weekend mornings, but hey, what can we do about it…
